Taiwan is a great place to live and work. The food, the people, the affordability, the safety — anyone who has spent time here knows how special it is.

And yet, for foreigners trying to find work in Taiwan, the process has long been frustrating.

Job boards are often only in Chinese, difficult to navigate, filled with irrelevant listings, or simply outdated. Facebook groups can help, but endlessly scrolling through posts and reaching employers over Messenger doesn’t exactly feel like a professional job search experience.

And for employers — particularly smaller schools, businesses, and local companies who want to hire foreign talent — it’s been a while since there has been a simple, straightforward place to post and be found.

That’s the gap WorkTW is aiming to fill.

WorkTW is built for the people already here: English teachers, international students with valid visas, APRC holders looking for flexible work, freelancers, and skilled professionals who have chosen to make Taiwan home.

It’s also built for the schools, businesses, and organizations across Taiwan that want to reach them.

The idea is simple: a bilingual(ish) job platform tailored specifically to Taiwan’s foreign workforce — a place where candidates can find real opportunities, and employers can connect with real people.

The site is still new, and there’s more to come. Features like resume listings and additional tools will be added in the future.

But with hiring season underway, we believe it’s more important to launch something useful now than to wait for something perfect later.
